Parliament sanctions probe against RDCs over women MPs

 

The Parliamentary Committee of Presidential Affairs has been directed by Parliament to investigate misconduct of errant Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) who are accused of blocking Women’s Day celebrations in the districts organized by opposition Women Legislators.

Parliament has called for terms of reference which guide RDCs to establish why they over step their mandate to engage in partisan politics.
