A Journalist attached to Voice of Muhabura Radio in Kisoro district has been assaulted by the manager of Gateway Bus Company.
Gerald Niyirinda and Dickens Twinomujuni (Intern) had been tipped that angry passengers who had traveled with Gateway Bus from Kampala had been abandoned in Kabale district after being told the bus would travel and reach Kisoro.
The passengers led by Morris Hakizimana, Youth Secretary for Finance at district level traveled by taxi, incurring an extra cost to Kisoro where they arrived at Gateway Offices on Kivengeri Street in Kisoro Municipality to demand for a refund
.Gateway bus services dumps people who were heading to Kisoro in Kabale at 4:20am even after charging them highly than usual transport.
