Other councilors who visited the plots under contention found some renovation works going on which prompted them to say that they will demonstrate so that the Land’s minister and the president can intervene in the matter.

Amos Hakizimana the district speaker said that they will mobilize all leaders in the district for a demonstration on 8th next month before the court registrar the plots on 12th April this year.

The district LC5 chairperson Abel Bizimana said he wrote to various authorities after discovering that someone has taken the land.He advised leaders to make emotional outcry to relevant authorities so that they can intervene in the matter.

In a few previous years the property at the said land was leased out to sub mines owned by Nambajimana Alex but later the council found out that there were un clarified procedural measures, terms and conditions that had not been spelt out and ordered the developer to stop works at the site.

According to a source the land title indicates that plot 2, 5 and 7 is located in Kabale not in Kisoro.
